Well,
It's been a while since I have written. This last year has been so hard and so good all at the same time. Bittersweet is a good way of looking at it. With so much I have learned and so much I have been through, I had someone ask me if I was going to write a book. So....My blog is going to be the start of making that happen. Whether it's ever printed, I don't know. But it will be good for me to express, and hopefully the Lord can use what He has had me go through to encourage and benifit someone else. I am going to call the book "Land of the Living" from Psalms 27:13 "I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living." This simple hope and assurance from the Lord has enabled me to put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward in this life. The Scripture is full of the Lord's promises and by clinging to those and looking to the Lord, as Peter on the water, we will make it through this life riddled with trial and pain and sin. For with the Lord it will hold untold joys, peace, love, blessings, and contentment. Please keep me in your prayers as I enter this endeavor. May it be the Lord working through me and not I myself.
